44/44A - Severe Disruption
Please note that as well as the earlier advertised emergency closure at East Runton, the A148 at High Kelling is now closed due to an accident.
The 19:06 44 from Sheringham to Holt is currently stuck at High Kelling behind this accident.
The 19:19 44 from Holt to Sheringham and connecting 19:45 44A to Norwich will be delayed by around 30 minutes, as the driver is having to wait to be swapped to a single deck bus to follow the only safe diversion we have available.
The 19:35 44 from Holt to Sheringham unfortunately is a double decker and we cannot get to this at present to swap to a smaller vehicle. It is already around 10 minutes late due to the East Runton diversion. On arrival at Sheringham this service will run to Holt but forced to divert via Roughton, Aylsham and Edgefield into Holt. Bodham and High Kelling will not be served.

Cromer (Suffield Park) Cadent Gas works
20th Jul 2026 - 4th Sep 2026
Due to a six week closure for Cadent Gas works, buses will not serve Mill Road Suffield Park or Cromer Hospital.
X41/X44/44A will use Norwich Road and serve all stops on diversion.
Coasthopper CH2 will continue to serve the Station Road section of Suffield Park.
Apologies for the inconvenience this long term closure will cause. -
44A - Emergency evening road closure at East Runton
Today 19:00
Due to emergency Anglian Water repairs taking place this evening, we will be unable to serve the section of the coast road from Sheringham Tesco to Cromer Westcliff Avenue (Including Beeston Regis, West Runton and East Runton) from 19:00 this evening.
Buses will still serve all other stops in Cromer and Sheringham as normal.
