Home to the Deep History Coast, North Norfolk's collection of award winning beaches are just a bus journey away with Coasthopper, now running seven days a week throughout the year connecting the coast from Wells-next-the-Sea all the way to Mundesley.

CH1 - Join us for gorgeous views across some of North Norfolk's most popular coastal destinations. Route CH1 spans the coast from Wells-next-the-Sea to Cromer including the quaint Cley-next-the-Sea, Blakeney for seal watching and Sheringham for a variety of independent shops and cafés.

CH2 - Following the coast road from Cromer to the gorgeous sandy beaches of Mundesley, route CH2 continues inland to North Walsham for local bus and rail connections. Hop on board to explore some of the quieter coastal villages including historical Overstrand and the cliffs of Sidestrand and Trimingham.

Joining Coasthopper

There are easy connections to Coasthopper using Sanders bus services.

From Norwich: Routes 44A, X44 and fast X40 connect Norwich City Centre with Cromer and Sheringham up to every thirty minutes. Hop on board at Norwich Bus Station, St Stephens Street, Castle Meadow, Tombland or Anglia Square and change to Coasthopper at Cromer Bus Station.
From Fakenham: Route 9 operates frequently Monday to Saturday between Fakenham and Sheringham, meeting Coasthopper CH1.
From North Walsham: Conveniently, Coasthopper CH2 starts inland at North Walsham Travel Hub before heading towards the coast at Mundesley.

By Car
If you really must bring your car into North Norfolk, we would recommend parking at Runton Road Car Park on Cromer Clifftop. There is always plenty of space and Coasthopper CH1 stops right outside the car park. Likewise, in Sheringham there is a large car park at Station Approach, or in Wells-next-the-Sea a large car park is situated off Holkham Road (around 10-15 minutes walk to meet Coasthopper).

By Train
Abellio Greater Anglia services on the Bittern Line serve both Cromer and Sheringham, where you can easily walk to meet Coasthopper. From Cromer Rail Station walk via Morrisons Car Park and Beach Road to Cadogan Road for CH1 or CH2. From Sheringham Rail Station, buses stop across the road from the platform on Station Approach.
