Dogs on buses

Well behaved dogs are welcome onboard all of our local bus services. A small fare is payable of 50p per single journey, or ask your driver for £1 Dog Rover ticket which allows all day travel on as many of our buses as you wish.

If you are travelling with your dog please ensure:

• Your dog does not sit on the seats or go upstairs on double deck buses, for the comfort of other passengers.
• They are clean and dry, we cannot allow travel to wet dogs - so if they're taking a swim in the sea, pack a towel!
• Your dog is well behaved and does not cause a nuisance to any other passengers.

Please note that we cannot guarantee a space for dogs on buses when we are particularly busy, or if there are lots of other dogs onboard. This does not often happen, but you may be asked to wait for the next bus if so.
