We welcome and encourage visitors to the area to explore the array of pubs which sit on the North Norfolk Coastline. Over the years, the "Coasthopper Pub Crawl" has become popular activity for visitors.

Coasthopper Pub Crawl Etiquette

  • Whilst we welcome pub goers onboard, we do ask you to be respectful to other passengers. Rowdy, loud or offensive behaviour will not be tolerated onboard the bus.
  • No alcohol can be brought on the bus. That's no cans or bottles being snuck on please, save that for in the pub!
  • Whilst we want you to have fun, please respect our locals and their establishments. Bad behaviour in one pub could lead to you being not allowed into others along the Coast Road for the rest of the day.
  • If your driver feels you are acting in an offensive or obscene manner, or if you are found to be drinking alcohol on the bus, you will be asked to leave the bus. It's a long, difficult way back home without being allowed on Coasthopper!

Plan your day

Visitors mostly use Coasthopper route CH1, which runs between Wells-next-the-Sea and Cromer. It is sensible to begin your visit from Cromer, where rail and local bus connections are plentiful. Please do not drive and join the route if you are intending to have a drink!

For all day travel on Coasthopper, you will need an Explorer Day Ticket.

Here are some of our recommendations - many have a bus stop right outside, so you can hop off for a drink and jump on the next bus along!
