
This tour is based near Worcester which is ideally situated for us to
visit, Wales, Hay-on-Wye and the delightful Black and White Villages around Herefordshire.
The Hotel
The 3 star standard Bank House Hotel, Golf and Country Club is set in acres of idyllic
Worcestershire countryside. Overlooking the scenic Malvern Hills, the rural location lends
itself to peace and tranquillity. All bedrooms are en suite and have television, telephone
and tea & coffee making facilities.

Itinerary
MONDAY Depart from your home area in the morning, arriving late afternoon
at Bank House Hotel. We will be having comfort stops on the way.
TUESDAY Our day begins with a drive through the Cotswolds into
Oxfordshire to visit the market town of Woodstock, from here we make our way into the
historic University City of Oxford where we enjoy a River Thames cruise.
WEDNESDAY This morning we visit the historic City of Hereford, with its
magnificent Cathedral, delightful architecture and lots of interesting little side
streets. We have time for lunch here before we leave for Tewksbury where we have a
delightful afternoon cruise to Upton on Severn, rejoining the coach here to return to the
hotel.
THURSDAY This morning we ride to Leominster and the unique little town of
Hay-on-Wye, with its maze of narrow ancient streets and famous for its bookshops, with
over a million books for sale on every conceivable subject. There is also a variety of
gift and other shops providing a wide choice. From Hay-on-Wye we continue into Wales and
the former Victoria Spa town of Llandrindod Wells, situated seven hundred feet above sea
level and surrounded by some of the best scenery in Wales. We take a break here and have
time to obtain lunch. Our next stop is the village of Kington, one of Herefordshire's five
market towns.
FRIDAY After breakfast we leave and begin our homeward journey.
