
Bournemouth is a much loved area and an area that is a firm favourite with
our customers, but on this tour we will visit places not previously featured on our
Bournemouth tours.

The Hotel
The Durley Dean Hotel is a historic Victorian townhouse hotel which is close to the centre
and benefits from a health club with swimming pool. All rooms are en-suite with tea and
coffee making facilities.

Itinerary
SUNDAY You will be picked up from your home and transferred to the coach
for a relaxing journey down to Bournemouth arriving late afternoon.
MONDAY Today we will go to the lovely city of Salisbury, where the
cathedral is well worth a visit. After our time here we will make our way back to
Bournemouth with a drive through the New Forest
TUESDAY We will have a relaxing cruise along the Jurassic Coast where we
can see Old Harry Rocks, Studland Bay, Pilot point and sail into Poole Harbour-one of the
largest natural harbours in the world. Also see Brownsea Island with its castle and
waterside village before cruising out of the harbour and along the Sandbanks peninsula
back to Bournemouth where we will have some free time to explore.
WEDNESDAY We will visit Dorchester, Thomas Hardy's Cottage and Gardens,
Stinsford (with its medieval church where Thomas Hardy's heart is buried, along with his
two wives). We will then make our way back to Bournemouth through some lovely countryside.
THURSDAY After breakfast we will make our way back to our homes stopping
for lunch on the way
