Blackpool has long been the entertainment capital of the north, with the Pier Theatres, the Pleasure Beach, and of course the magnificent Tower, with its Wurlitzer and Ballroom. We feature a day ticket to the Tower, and, as a nice contrast, an excursion to beautiful Pendle Hill Country and the Forest of Bowland.

The Hotel

Itinerary
MONDAY Depart from your home area travelling north to Blackpool where we will arrive late afternoon.
TUESDAY This morning we travel along the coast to Fleetwood for its weekly market. There is also time to obtain lunch, and visit the Freeport Fleetwood shopping village before returning to Blackpool.
WEDNESDAY Enjoy a day at leisure in Blackpool. Take a tram ride along the promenade or maybe visit the Pleasure Beach, stroll along the Golden Mile or just sit and watch the world go by. Included today is a 'Day Ticket' entry to Blackpool Tower.
THURSDAY A complete contrast today as we take a jaunt to the town of Clitheroe for Market Day. Clitheroe has been a market town since the 1 3th century, and still boasts the Castle Keep. We will take a magical tour around the Pendle Hills and the Forest of Bowland, taking us through picture postcard villages and remote hills and fells.
FRIDAY After breakfast we leave Blackpool and begin our journey home.
